First off I’d like say I love the vehicle I purchased and second the staff was very friendly and I didn’t have any issues at all. I originally went with my own financing just because I’m accustomed to doing it they were able to beat the rate I initially had because they wanted my business. The best experience I have ever had buying car! I talked to Larry on the phone, and he made it so easy. He and I texted back and forth all day - he sent pictures, videos and emails with vehicles available, pricing, etc. The next day when I was able to come in person - he was ready and waiting for me, and honored everything he said on phone and over text. My concern is that I waited 30 minutes after my vehicle was serviced to get my vehicle. There were 3 customers that came in after me and had already left. It wasn't until I inquired about my vehicle being serviced that I was informed that the vehicle was serviced but cashier was having an issue with her computer. Not sure why there wasn't better customer service.

Went in for an oil change had a scheduled appointment. When I arrived there was nobody in line and the person behind the counter had me wait for it seemed like no reason. I waited there while he looked at the computer for 5 mins then he finally says you can leave your keys and wait in the waiting area. Another service member that was in training attempted to help me but he needed assistance for the guy that made me wait and he also ignored the service member in training.

Went there for a timing belt job last week and was falsely told that I had an oil leak and a bunch of other problems with my car, and that it would be around $3500 to fix which is massively overpriced. Like a lot of mechanics around Atlanta, they will take advantage if your unfamiliar with cars. I should mention that, not even a day later, I got an email offer from them to appraise and purchase my vehicle, because “They’re low on inventory and need vehicles like mine.” I didnt trust them after that. So I searched around and ended up having to drive a Honda dealership out of town, and paid $1200 for the same service, which is still pricey, but I can’t imagine how many people they’ve gotten. I ended up saving myself $2200.

If you need to see customer service in action, then you need to visit the service department at AutoNation Honda.It was not only the great customer service I received but the the service the people around me received. My service person was Ramneet. I was there for warranty on the software. They did a multi point inspection and then he covered all the details so I would understand I will definitely be back and tell my friends.

Prices have gone up 20% over the last 12 months. I had 20 dollars stollen from my vehicle while in for repair... My fault for leaving it in the car but never had an issue in the last 5 years, I leave an emergency 20 in the same place all the time and even hide it before leaving the car so they had to search for it.

Looking back, the experience has been alright. With a dealer, you’re never going to get an amazing deal and they make you think like they’re doing you a favor when it’s all the contrary and they need you more than you need them. Most sales people were really friendly. My salesperson was friendly but of course, he was trying to sell me something. He did everything I asked for and was very pleasant. Everything went smoothly, only thing was that the car I got started giving me problems a week after I purchased it. I’m still dealing with it and hopefully it’ll get resolved since I can’t give the car back. Everything is supposed to be covered by the warranty so I’m hopeful. UPDATE: Where to start???? They did fix my transmission that started bothering me a week after I purchased the vehicle. However, the car has a recall and they have not fixed it yet even though they had my car for 3 days and I asked for the recall to be fixed as soon as I bought the car (over a month ago). They gave me a rental which is nice but now for the recall I have to take the car back for another 3 days to a different collision center because their collision center is NOT HONDA CERTIFIED!!!! And they’re not providing a rental, after they told me it would “only take 2 hours.” At this point, I’m done with this dealer. I paid a lot of money for a car that is giving me a lot of headaches and I can’t give it back. Save your money and time and go to a real Honda dealer. UPDATE: Found me a real Honda dealer (Honda of Newman). They gave me my car fax and Autonation reported the stuff they repaired minor damages to my car (even though one was a recall and the other one was an electric problem covered by the warranty)…demeaning the value of car. I TOTALLY HATE AUTONATION HONDA!

Service: I would not recommend. They gave me a very hard time and didn’t communicate well when I took in my previous Honda Accord. If I was rating just based on service i wouldn’t even give this dealer a 1 star. Ram is the technician that has worked on my car in the past and he is quite frankly the worst. Sales. Here is where the four stars arrives. I would have given this experience a 5 star but ill explain. Firstly, try your hardest to work with Dino Curic. He is the new vehicle director. He is the only reason I have stepped into that dealership. He was courteous and reasonable from the moment i met him. He helped me get the right car as well. I would give this guy ten stars. The direct sales rep that i worked with however, was pretty unprepared and lacked knowledge. She was unable to answer most of my questions. Financing. Another person that was great was Jackie in financing. He is a stand up guy. Reasonable and willing to help. Getting a new car? Work with Dino and Jackie Service: take it somewhere else.

After my car was totaled in an accident I had to find a new car quick. I had a limited amount of time while waiting on the insurance company to complete the paperwork and paying off my totaled car. I chose AutoNation Honda on Thornton Road and after much researching decided I would like to get a Honda CR-V. Everybody at this dealership was professional, helpful and friendly. Financed a car from here in December 2021. Received a phone call after my car was totaled about obtaining a new vehicle. I never went to the appointment in February 2022 and noticed in March 2022 that my credit was pulled. I called to speak the manger John King. He gave me a call back and apologized, told me that he would send me an email that would include a letter to give to experian to remove the inquiry. It seems that these people are sales driven not service oriented. I will NEVER use or recommend this location. I actually want another Honda but after this experience I will select another dealership.

The staff was nice and I got a call all the time when I showed interest.As soon as I signed the docs then got home and went through them, I called for the manager and was told he’d call me back first thing next day and as soon as I drove off, Never got that call, I guess the goal was to make a sale. I was told that the total would be a certain amount and when I went through finance the amount increased by about $6000. They should be more honest about total costs upfront. Although I like the car , I would NOT have moved forward if I knew they’d add all the fees on and if I knew there would be a disparity in price.

They took my car right away at the appointed time. They told me it would be about 1.5 hours but it took less time than that! I was in and out with my oil change and tire rotation completed. Everything went pretty well! One thing, I had everything set on my dash to the way I like and I think when they were checking everything, they changed settings, etc... I had to go through the CR-V manual to figure out how to change my settings back the way I preferred them.

I just had an awesome experience with a car salesman. Yes...I did say an awesome experience with a car salesman! Alton Threats of AutoNation Honda picked up the phone when I called about a car I found online (700 miles away) and we made a deal over the phone right then. We agreed on a price and that someone would pick me up at the airport. When I arrived in Atlanta, Alton was there waiting for me at the airport. So I would highly recommend calling Alton for your next car purchase. Thanks Alton!

I don't know the recent changes to their customer service but I am giving it an B. Previously, I would have given it a D average because I would have to wait at least 6 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. This time I didn't even have to call regarding my car and they were done in about 1 1/2. I appreciate receiving the state my car is in and the recommendation on paper what services will be needed soon. My customer service rep was awesome!!

Great website. Easy to navigate and is up to the minute accurate. If you inquire online they respond back before your hand leaves your laptop keyboard. They respond in person with a personal phone call and also with a email. No stone left unturned. I think they should offer their competition some training classes on customer appreciation and service cause they staff here knows how to treat customers and loves what they do. Great experience

The sales Rep Mr. Charles Brownlee was a joy to work with. He tried to accomodate my every need in purhasing my vehicle. However I was not a 100% satisfied customer. The vehicle i purchased (2019 Murano Platinum) had a couple of missing items i.e. the owners manual se, the cargo shade and the mirror cover with turning signal on the drivers side is broke. I was told that vehicle was turned in without the owners manual and the cargo shade and they did not have one for the vehicle and they never responded regarding the mirror cover. Aware that it is a used vehicle I can eat the cost to replace these items. Should not cost more that a couple of hundred dollars. Would prefer that dealership eat it though. What do you say Autonation Honda? Will you accomodate?

My wife carried her car in yesterday 3.8 . 2022, for a simple oil change, I made the appointment for and OIL CHANGE ONLY. Didn't need washer floods and other items she was sold. Her car CRV 2020 purchased new the car only has 7k miles on it. In the future ask if a customer wants other stuff before you charge them, my wife didn't know any better she does now , it was only about $10, I didn't ask for it, or the wipers , they tried to sell me . While the sales person, Merwing Olivares was accommodating, I was not too fond of the New Vehicle Director, Dino Curic. I came to buy a civic but was shown the insight. I test drove the insight and liked it, how can you not like 50mpg. It drove surprisingly well. So I decided buy it, But I was turned off by AutoNation sale tactics. First off, as we were talking numbers, instead of Dino, the New vehicle manager coming over to the table where I was sitting; he wanted me to come to the main podium. I saw that as Mr. Curio trying to make a power move. I have never had a car salesman, manager, etc wave me over to the podium to talk numbers, that’s Unprofessional. I’m the consumer. So need less to say I was done at that point. Not only that, all the unnecessary up charging on things that clearly are double if not triple in price. The sticker was $27,000 when the finished the price $34,000. And these are mark ups of thing that wasn’t even one the vehicle as of yet. Dino insisted that these things had to go in the car. $500.00 for window tent, $399.00 for nitrogen in the tires, $300.00 for wheel locks, just to name a few. This is not my first rodeo when it comes to buying cars so I understand the game and this is price gouging at its best. I will be recommending people to car shop elsewhere.

I would not recommend buying any type of protection plan or warranty that you are encouraged to buy at the time you are buying the car. I purchased a new Honda HRV at this dealership. Within 17,000 miles the battery died. They replaced it free of charge because it was covered under the manufacturer's warranty. They replaced it with a battery with a 100 month warranty. That's a 8 year warranty. This replacement battery goes out around 48 months into the warranty and they refuse to cover the battery because it's not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. But, I bought at vehicle protection plan and it's not covered under that warranty either. And the batter is suppose to have a 100 month warranty. It does not seem right that they would not replace the battery. Now I have to pay for a battery for a vehicle that is not even 4 years old. Then they tell me the technician found a crack or tear in my serpentine belt. I ask if it's covered under the vehicle protection plan that I purchased and they said no because their computer did not find the issue and they have to have a computer generated diagnostic code before it would be covered. So even though a human technician can see an issue, it can't be covered by the protection plan until the computer diagnosis the problem. The protection plan I bought from this dealer is worthless to me. I'm very unhappy and will find another Honda dealer to service my HRV in the future.

I was greeted shortly after arriving by my salesman. He was pleasant and knowledgeable making the whole process of purchasing my Odyssey flow smoothly. My salesman was gracious and patient and made sure all my questions were answered. Even after I drove off my d the lot, l can call my salesman with my questions, and he answers my questions. Even though I live an hour away, I will be coming back in a few months to purchase a car for my daughter from this dealership. Car salesmen inside are not the nicest. Just because someone doesn’t fit in the stereotype of what you think someone who will purchase looks like, doesn’t mean you ignore them or not acknowledge them. Bought 2 new cars, and was ready to bring in my brother in law for his but no one followed up on a car inquiry I made to 2 people, won’t be buying here again. My service advisor Daniel was absolutely amazing! I've taken my car here for most services over the last 12+ years, and he has been the most amicable, explanatory, and professional advisor I've ever encountered. If I could give him a raise, I would. He explained all of the services available and recommended, the prices associated with those services, and was respectful of my budget. The only discrepancies I had was with the person who inspected my car. For example, my wipers have been in a state of distress for close to a year, and I have the parts to replace them, however they were marked as in good shape along with the other window components on my inspection. Also, I recently replaced my cabin filter, however it was marked as needing attention. Other than that I believe, the items recommended were on my radar for service for a bit now, and overall I am confident in this service provider for my Honda. Special thank you to Daniel!

Took my car in last week for an oil change and tire rotation, which took 2.25 hours. 2 days later my sill plate started falling off while driving on 75 NB. My husband managed a temporary hold with a bungee while sitting on shoulder of 75. Took it in, they didn't even apologize for their screw up and returned my car reeking of cigarettes. Will never return.

Great service they move pretty quickly; another thing is my check engine light has been going on and off and they still can’t seem to fine the issue. They claim the light has to stay on in order for them to find the code. They keep saying it could be my oil level but I myself know that’s not the issue. They refilled the engine oil and the light is still going on and off. Wish they could solve it because the check engine light keeps coming on and off regularly since they refilled the oil.

If I compare AutoNation Honda - Thornton with another dealer I have gone used, I will rate AutoNation/Thornton Lower. 1st, they/you have express service advertised but you don't honor it. I went in early Saturday morning (7:00 a.m.) thinking I could get an oil change, but only to be told if I didn't have an appointment, I wouldn't be able to get a service. I know it's Covid, but I haven't experienced this at other dealers. And because I have had an appointment with you before, which I didn’t get in and out, I thought, what’s the big deal. 2nd, when I returned for my appointment the service person who scheduled me and who I was told to see, wasn't there. The others acted like they didn't want to take my car in, but had me to know that the person wasn't there but we will get you in. A young lady, name I cannot recall, was very kind and did help and was very informative. I have an extended warranty on my car, but she was the only one that offered to have my filters changed. On my last service the service person made it seem that I would have to pay for it. But that wasn't the case. It was a part of my service warranty. This location is convenient for me, but I beginning to think it might be worth making the drive for better service. They told me a service was 45 minutes, and when I returned, they told me it was 90 minutes. Conflicting information.

The car buying experience went well until it was discovered that they sold me a car with a cracked windshield. Instead of rectifying the issue, AutoNation Honda on Thornton Road told me to use my own insurance, even though the crack did not happen on my insurance. If this is any indication of post sale service from this dealership, i will never go back and would advise anyone else to stay away.

My husband and I were extremely pleased with the entire staff - specifically Larry, Jena, and the finance advisor. I picked up my car that was getting serviced only to find mold covering the entirety of the floorboards. When I asked, Daniel, who has been amazing this whole process, he then asked his manager about them possibly detailing it for me considering it's a brand new car, less than a year of ownership, and I obviously didn't have mold when I brought it in. It was involved in an accident with water, so you'd think they would have a preventative system to keep mold from forming... But I was told they couldn't help me. And that if need to come in and pay for the service. Why would I pay you $180 to clean my car, after you are the ones that let mold form?

I recently had diagnostics performed. I was told I needed all four fuel injectors as well as a new catalytic converter, which is highly unlikely for all injector to fail at once, and a catalytic converter. My vehicle is almost 5 years old. I don't expect emissions-replaced parts to fail so soon. The dealership will not offer any help although I purchased my vehicle from there and perform my maintenance services. I emailed the GM twice and he has failed to respond as well.

I took my daughters’ 2010 CRV in for maintenance and tech said we needed. I was told parts needed to be ordered and we would have to bring it back in . I was ok with doing that . I have had my vehicle serviced by AutoNation Honda at Thornton Road for a number of years now. They are always was very professional and thorough in explaining everything to me from beginning to end. I do not feel like they try to "sell" me something but inform me about my vehicle. I received quality service. I purchased the car at as a certified pre-owned car at a Honda dealership in Mississippi. The AutoNation customer service rep pulled up all my records on his computer and confirmed all previous maintenance. When my oil change and tire rotation were completed, he showed me the checklist. My only disappointment is that this dealership doesn't return my car to me washed. My old Hyundai dealership used to do that.

This auto nation is a MESS my oil change today literally took over 3 hours.. I came here once before and they said shortage on labor. I came back one year later still high wait times. It’s pretty annoying to be quoted a time and sit 1 1/2 hours over the time.. once I was done waiting 5 hours they told me they couldn’t do my oil change because the drain plug was stripped.. okay let’s maybe order the part and move on.. Amber then tells me they don’t have to tools to even take it off.. I should go to a BMW. Only auto nation has touched my car (I bought it from auto nation) so I’m not sure why they couldn’t fix it. The car just had an oil change 5k miles ago.. I will be definitely reaching out to corporate. It’s clear something happened during the last oil change. I waited 5 hours and they did NOTHING not even change the windshield wiper fluid or offer me anything for wasting my time. They need some serious training. Update: this location screwed my drain plug in so tight I now need a new oil pan because it had to be drilled out which will crack it. 2800 bucks smh. DO NOT go here for anything

First, I would like to see Honda-Thornton Road, Lithia Springs, GA location offer customers coupons on car services (i.e. oil changes, transmission, brake system, etc.) since the prices have gone up tremendously over the last few months. They want you to register with owners.honda.com to get coupons, but why can't the specific store location offer coupons to dedicated customers who regularly have services performed on their vehicles without any questions on site. Secondly, in order to get good service, you MUST stay on top of the service reps and employees to make sure they are serving the customers respectfully, professionally, accurately, and in a timely manner. Third, I would like to see this location offer customers free vehicle rentals (as a courtesy) when you have to wait long periods of time to have your car repaired, if a part doesn't come in for an extended period of time, or if there are issues with the supply chain and your part is floating out there somewhere where no one knows. They MUST do a better job taking care of their customers or will start losing great ones.

My appointment was for 11:30 am.There were several people in front of me but I was sitting in the waiting room before 11:30.Amber Smith was wonderful. She told me they would get me out by 2 pm. Well mine is a new 2019 Honda CRV and this was my 2nd oil change. Since it had no other services to be performed it was just there at Autonation Honda for a regular oil change. Now I am a Honda owner for last 12 years and this is the 3rd Honda in my family. To my surprise I was charged $76.56 just for a oil change. What a rip-off. I have been to dealer for all my oil changes but never was I charged this big before. So I won't recommend anybody to visit Autonation. (The original price was $120.00 but we had a managers discount of $55.) Never again, never.

I located here approximately two years ago and have been taking my vehicle here . The last time in I had an oil change and 4 wheel alignment. I have been out of town working the last couple of months and returned a few days prior to Christmas. When I got picked up from the airport in my truck , my truck was making a noise and it seemed like it was coming from the front tire. I made an appointment for a diagnostic on 12-23-21 with Amber. I thought maybe I should get a diagnostic opinion from another mechanic prior to taking it to Auto Nation. I took it to a mechanic . As he was driving my truck he asked @who had been working on my truck . I responded no one but the Honda dealer. He stated the sound seems like it was going from the wheel. He went back to the shop and jacked the truck up . It was the left front wheel where the lugs were loose. The mechanic took them off with his hand! He tightened all the lug nuts! Do you realize how dangerous this could have been? We are all human and we all make mistakes but this could have been a deadly one! We take our vehicle to the dealership to get the quality work and Honda parts. We all know the dealership in higher but look what happened.

I scheduled a oil change at 3pm and figured I would show up a little early, I got there at 2:45. I didn’t get my car back until 6:30. I bought a service plan when I purchased the car, i don’t know if this had anything to do with them taking so long. Possibly because they don’t make commission off of it. I saw multiple people show up after me and leave way before me. By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. The most unprofessional I have ever seen. After sitting around for 2 and a half hours, I went to see where my car was and it hadn’t even been moved yet. Angel was the guy handling it, no communication whatsoever. Was a bit disappointed with the Honda Service Department this Saturday morning - appointment time was 8:30am. The reason being is if you say you will call in two hours, then call. At two hours and 45 minutes, I called and they still didn’t have an updated. We arrived back at the business 15 minutes later, for a total of 3 hours. We were told they were working on an estimate to a FCW System Failed warning on our dash. It is Monday and still haven’t heard from them. We also asked for and oil change and to rotate our tires. Oil change was done but the tires were not rotated.

Terrible experience. I bought my car off and was due a refund from my service warranty and Gap insurance. I went physically to the dealer multiple times, tried contacting corporate multiple times. Called the dealer multiple times. Spent a lot of time and never got anything back. They wouldn't even tell me how much I was getting back.

My experience at Auto Nation Honda on Thornton rd was awesome. From the time I walked in to inquiry about getting a car until the time I came back to pick my car up. Car dealers can be overwhelming. Everything went smooth here and I felt that everyone I encounter from Tyler , Marco , Andy and the finance guy all had my best interest.

The service advisor staff has a high turnover Every time I come for service there is new staff. Ramnett Garcha, my advisor was not engaging, he lacked meaningful conversation and was very militant. No pleasantries when approached, it was me who said " and good morning to you". PEOPLE SKILLS ARE ESSENTIAL!

My experience was horrible. Jamal with finance messed up my paperwork I had told him i live in Macon and wouldn’t be able to drive back and guess what the paperwork was messed up i had to drive back 2hrs . He offered gift card he claimed to be put in the mail but two months later never came. Not to mention they sent my tag to my old address in austell not macon which I had to take another trip 2hrs for. I set appointment to get a tire changed heather didn’t follow back up and she didn’t have my tire so I got a spare for a week. They got the rim and tire. Do not buy from them you will regret it!!! Don’t trust the good reviews I wish I hadn’t

FIND ANOTHER HONDA DEALERSHIP … I’ve heard nothing but bad reviews for this dealership from friends and family and should’ve listened. I brought my car in for service while it was still under warranty for a check airbag system alert. I was originally told my airbags weren’t showing any issues and that my battery was going bad. The next day my battery dies and I replace it only to find out my alternator is also going bad. I take the car back for the alternator and they advise the alternator is fine but my drivers airbag is bad. Their “warranty” does not cover the airbag replacement so they won’t be doing the work. Airbags are basic safety features of a vehicle and it behooves me that something like this would not be covered. After reviewing my paperwork the charging system shows as not tested which means my alternator was NEVER tested and they are going based off the battery strength in the NEW battery I just purchased so of course it would check out fine. I was told I would be receiving a call from the service manager on Thursday October 14 and have not heard anything after picking up my vehicle.

I took my car in for a diagnostic due to an issue I was having. After 2.5 hours of waiting I was told of several issues with my car but none were definitevely correlated to the issue I asked to be addressed. So I am back at square one Googling and guessing what the issue could be. I opted not to have repairs done that day since I had already waited 2.5 hours for the diagnostic to be completed but asked that an estimate be provided. Heather Slay, the service advisor advised she would forward me an estimate via email. I did not receive an estimate at all. I did however while waiting receive an email solicitation from Andre to purchase my car. I was very displeased with the lack of follow and feel I wasted 2.5 hours of my time.

I was advised to replace my struts. The new parts were ordered and installed but were found to be defective, so they had to order another new part. I waited for one month for the new part to arrive while driving around with a horrible shake and rattle noise in the defective strut. No one informed me when the new part arrived and it was impossible to reach anyone on the telephone. Meanwhile my oil light came on and I went to the same dealership for an oil change. I was told the part had arrived, however the part could not be installed because the technician was not there. Then the service representative told me to leave since I was not getting any service done. She overlooked the fact my "change oil light" was on and my oil still had not been changed. In order to get my oil changed I had to explain to the service representative the danger of skipping an oil change. The sub par service by the service representative was the worse I have received in 7 years going to this dealership. She was unprofessional, lacked common courtesy, and showed little knowledge of her job thus reflecting poorly on the dealership as a whole.

Be cautious when you have service done here. When purchasing my wife’s vehicle (2018 CRV) we were offered an oil change service for the first 6 years/60,000 miles. It’s been 3 years and we just hit 59,000 miles and we were due for one last oil change under this program. However, the service department was backed up and I couldn’t get an appointment time scheduled for a few days. It would also be a few hour wait if I just brought it in so I decided to do it myself as I do for all our other vehicles. When I jacked the car up and went underneath as any routine oil change, I noticed a lot of oil on the protective shield underneath the car. I removed the shield to reveal the oil pan and there was oil everywhere! Oil was caked on to the top side of the shield due to oil leaking from the negligence of Honda Technicians. You should NOT be able to remove the oil drain plug with your bare hands!!! The technician either forgot or simply didn’t tighten the oil drain plug which is the only thing keeping the oil in your car!! This lead to a steady leak of oil. How does this happen? We have only taken this vehicle to get the oil changed at Honda on Thornton Rd. So, needless to say, it has been a steady leak for 4-5 months (our last oil change). We will never have service done here again. In hindsight, we are very lucky that the drain bolt did not come out while operating the vehicle on the road/interstate. However, this was very negligent on Honda’s part. I also noticed the oil filter is not changed on every oil change. Build up of sludge/oil grime is not normal on the oil filter housing where it makes the seal. We are also missing 4 screws underneath to hold up the protective shield. Please be cautious if you decide to get service done here. I will be changing our oil going forward.

Bought my 2018 accord here, car had issue with the electronic parking brake actuator and the abs modulator last year in July so I paid close to $1500 to get it repaired since it was out of warranty, not even a full year later the car started having the same exact issues with the same parts that I paid to get repaired/replaced and its leaving me without transportation for the time of the repair, I’ve been in touch with the service manager about them putting me in a rental/loaner and he’s just been going around in circles without being able to solve anything out for me! Do not recommend buying/servicing your car here as they don’t appreciate their customers

Had two of my Hondas in to AutoNation Honda Thornton Road in the last 2 months. The first was for an airbag recall. I made an appointment online and indicated I would be waiting for the work to be done. I arrived about half an hour early. I was the next vehicle in line at the time. There were two service writers, one sitting at her computer, the other was writing up a vehicle already in the service breezeway. Neither of them looked my way for 10 minutes. I just sat wondering if I was in the right place. Finally, one of them came up to me and collected my information. I told them I had an appointment and would be waiting. I was told the recall would take approximately 2.5 hours. I was fine with that. I walked outside after nearly 2 hours to see my Element parked in the lot. I asked the other service writer for a status on my vehicle to which she replied she’d just been handed the paperwork for it by the other service writer. She assured me they would start on it immediately. I waited another 2 hours and went back outside to check the status. As both women were busy with customers, I asked the male service writer to check on my Element. He told me he wasn’t handling that vehicle. I asked if he would check anyway. He asked what it was being serviced for. I told him the airbag recall, that it had been 2 hours since being taken back to which he responded the job would take 4.5 hours. I simply stood there looking at him until he finally got up with a huff and walked over to the service bays. He came back and said it would be another 1.5 hours. I returned to the waiting area where I had discovered that everyone who’d dropped their cars off AFTER me said they’d all been drive-ups and hadn’t made appointments. They said the service writers told them they’d work them in. All of their cars, with one exception, were completed before mine — and several had been completed before mine had even been looked at! And I had made an appointment 4 weeks prior to the service date. After about 45 more minutes of waiting, I stepped outside to smoke a cigarette, and guess what I saw? My Element was once again parked in the lot. I looked at my service writer and she glanced at me while I just shook my head. Unbelievable! I went inside to use the restroom, and when I came out, a man was waiting on me with my paperwork. He never introduced himself, and I had never seen him before. He said the car was ready and the keys were in it. I asked him for my paperwork, and he said I really didn’t need any since it was a recall and I wasn’t charged anything. Dumbfounded, I explained that I kept all paperwork of repairs on my vehicles for my records. In fact, I pointed out to him that the papers he was holding actually said “Customer Copy” on them. He gave them to me and I left. Every employee I interacted with had a bad attitude, as if doing their job was an imposition. Absolutely no urgency in performing their work. Nothing friendly in their manner. Not concerned that my vehicle had been forgotten for two hours. Not bothered at all that drive-ups were worked on before those making appointments. Failed to inform me of ANYTHING concerning my vehicle. I had to inquire just to get it looked at. How long would I have sat there waiting after my Element was done because no one could be bothered to tell me it was finished. It wasn’t until the service writer saw that I had seen my car that I was told it was ready. I kept the appointment for my CRV a month or so later because I thought there is no way a dealership could operate this haphazardly as part of its everyday operation and remain in business. Service writers and/or techs must have been short staffed that day, I told myself. Besides, it was only getting an oil change and having a noise on startup checked out. I arrived early once again and pulled up to the breezeway. I sat again for some time like before. When someone finally came over to me, I explained I had an appointment and what I needed done. She told me it would be 45 minutes before they could get to it. That’s fine. I was a half hour early anyway. I gave them my cell number and told them I’d be waiting. After 2 hours, and having gone outside to smoke twice, I became concerned that my CRV had been parked in one of the service bays for more than an hour with no one actually working on it. I told the service writer the horrible experience I had last time (I’m sure she remembered) and asked her to please check on my vehicle. She said the tech was working on several cars at the same time and she would let me know when it was finished. I waited patiently for at least another hour…nothing. In the mean time, the customers in the waiting area were all swapping horror stories about the service at this dealership. One lady got an email from the dealership asking if she’d like to reschedule her appointment since she missed that day’s appointment. She was sitting in their waiting room for crying out loud! She went outside and discovered her vehicle had been finished an hour earlier and no one had told her! I stepped out to smoke (I’d been waiting now almost 4 hours for an oil change and a diagnosis of a noise on startup) and saw my CRV sitting on the lot. Goodness knows how long it had been out there since no one bothered to text me. Again, the service writer must have seen me, because I received a text as soon as I entered the waiting room again. I would never have believed a business could operate with such terrible customer service. As a retired Publix grocery manager, I’m usually very good at waiting. I know how often things beyond our control can mess up someone’s plans. I was willing to give this dealership the benefit of the doubt after the first horrendous experience. After my second visit, however, I can only surmise this is standard operating procedure here. I’m astounded that the service side of this dealership gets away with providing very little service, and the service they do provide is inefficient and needs to be painfully extracted by the customers themselves. How it is that the service manager (I assume) could sit in his office with the door closed having what sounded, from the loud and frequent laughter emanating from within, a jolly good time with two other individuals for more than an hour on one occasion — while his service department was metaphorically burning down — I’ll never know. This service department probably needs a change in management. Someone needs to train their employees in effective customer service. Additionally, whoever is in charge of scheduling needs to be retrained to make sure the appropriate techs are available to perform the specific work for which appointments have been made. You should probably have someone from your corporate office spend a few days sitting in your waiting room to hear all the legitimate complaints. I know they’re legitimate because they describe the same experiences I had. I bought my CRV at this dealership, and I’ve never gone for service at any other dealership. I can promise you, however, I will never come back here again, and I will tell everyone who inquires not to go here, either. I will make all future purchases and/or service appointments at the Honda dealership in Woodstock or at Ed Voyle’s Honda. Finally, while Publix prides itself on exceeding customers’ expectations, which is a high bar to meet for other companies, AutoNation Honda Thornton Road doesn’t even come close. And it doesn’t come close not because it can’t, but because no one there even tries. When you get right down to it, this systemic failure in service must be a reflection of management. If I ran a store or a department as poorly as this, I’d be looking for a job at Walmart where service doesn’t matter, because I’d be fired from Publix.

Absolutely great place in Lithia springs! I had a dead battery in my Honda Accord. The service team went above and beyond to handle the situation. They allowed me the opportunity to know what exactly what needed to be done. Even explained the condition of the vehicle. Even though I bought my vehicle from Carmax they still treated me like family. I’m glad I chose Honda as a vehicle. I will be back for the recommendation for next oil change. I was given a price to get two keys cut and programmed… then i get my bill and there is almost $40 in additional charges that have nothing to do with nothing!! I’m fine with tax, but this wasn’t tax. A manager wasn’t available so i called and called and can never get anyone. Watch for the bait and switch at this dealership.

I have been having my car serviced at Thornton Rd Honda for years. I noticed a year before the pandemic, the service department appeared to make major changes in service as well as service advisors. The service has declined significantly. My service advisor “NEVER” came and gave me an update on the status of my vehicle. He didn’t even tell me where my vehicle was parked once it was ready. I am not sure if this dealership is under new management but the service is terrible. I stayed on the phone for 45 minutes to make an appointment. Ridiculous!! This location is near my home. I will have to find another Honda dealership to service my car.

This is the only place I take my car. My experience was great. My only issue is that the tires that they have put on my car are never in stock and have to be ordered. The device I received service on was, for the most part, done well. There was one slip up with my tires. The very next day my tire light came on. I took the vehicle to put air in the tires and boy did they need air. I was able to take the car for a tire check. Even the service tech had to put more air in the tires. So he did then reset the tire needs air. Since that time all is now well.

I went Saturday to look at cars. We were going to look at the pilots. The sales man was mehhh. He was on his phone very disinterested. I really wanted to see the new black Honda Pilot touring. I said multiple times how I would love to see the inside. The salesman didn’t really look up from his phone. I bought my accord there in 2014 and had an amazing experience so I expected the same. We ended up leaving and buying a car from the Toyota dealership down the road.

Just purchased a new Ridgeline from this dealer. Love the car but will not buy here again. Reserved the car on their website at their advertised price but the dealer refused to honor it upon my arrival to purchase it. I reluctantly continued with the purchase and paid cash. Even so I was kept there for almost four hours to complete the transaction. Since then I’ve had to communicate with them regarding a refund for a back ordered accessory. Their responsiveness was not good. Happy with my Honda, totally disappointed by this dealer. Buy yours elsewhere.

Beware! I brought windshield wipers from their parts department and had them installed some place else 2 weeks prior to taking my car in to their shop for repairs. They took them off and put some new ones on without my permission or consent. Sure they apologized and gave me credit but they didn't service the car's original problems. They went in a different costly direction putting filers in places I didn't know their was one so BEWARE!

In the middle of negotiations and tje person I was working with never responded . Whether the answer was no or yes a phone call to tell me that would have been nice. Took 2 days and a phn call from someone else after I complained. What they didn't know was I was still thinking about buying vehicle even w/ out the neg but if I Ended up not liking car after their 250 mile warranty I can't imagine trying to get my.money back with the lack of communication they showed.

We drove 3 hours to pickup my new 2021 Ridgeline because they had the only red one in 300 miles. It was ready when we arrived, we paid half down in cash and financed the other half. We had been preapproved for credit yet we still had to wait over 2 hours to make the purchase. We bought running board and weather Tec floor mats. The boards were put in back of truck for us to install and the floor mats they were out of. They didn't tell us about mats until after papers were signed or we wouldn't have bought them. I was assured they'd be shipped out pronto. It's been 3 weeks now and we still don't have them. Sales person and sales manager not taking my calls. I just want my mats or my money back so I can get them, yet no one will talk to me. If we lived closer we would go by the dealership daily. If you can buy a Honda from anyone else, buy it.

So a friend of mine purchased her car from this dealership around September of 2020. Brand new car, no miles, and they sold her gap protection, window tint protection (the car didn’t have tint at all) and dent protection. On top of that, they sold her extended warranty on a BRAND NEW CAR. So they took advantage of her and had an extra 5k added to the amount of the car. Sadly the car was recently wrecked, and what a great thing she got gap protection....... turns out, that the extended warranty they sold her isn’t covered under the gap protection which makes sense, but now she is left without a car and a 4K debt on an extended warranty that was NEVER used. This is obviously a dealership that doesn’t care about the scumbag sales team members they hire. I’ve worked for a dealer before and know how these deals can happen so that the sales person can get an extra commission selling you BS you don’t need so they can line their pockets. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership.

The prices are simply too high and you guys make too much money to not have figured out a way to do the work at a more reasonable price. You over charge for parts and labor. And it is not expressly explained that the diagnostic cost is for one hour of diagnosis. I found out when the mechanic decided it would cost too much to keep diagnosing my car. That's not how it should be, I should have known what i was paying for so i could have made a better decision for my money. A little honestly and reasonable pricing would go a long way. Without that, i dont see any reason to ever bring a car to the honda service center as it wont save you money, it will just cost you more.

Took 2008 Accord V6 to AutoNation Thornton in 2019. I complained of burning oil smell. Tech documented VCV oil leak. Tech replaced seal and I paid dealership approximately $800. Two days later burning oil smell returned. I later took the vehicle back and the AutoNation Tech’s diagnosis was the valve covers and gaskets. After paying them $1700 and picking up the vehicle, the vehicle continued to smell like burning oil. I returned the vehicle and it was diagnosed as the oil pan seal. After spending another $500 to replace, the vehicle continued to smell like burning oil when driven. After returning the vehicle to them, it was diagnosed as the rear main seal had gone bad and that it would cost me another $2000 to repair. I’d probably set the car on fire before taking it to Thornton AutoNation again. Thornton AutoNation siphoned all the $ ($5,000) from my AUL warranty and I’m STILL left with the same burning oil smell. Next time, I’ll take my business to Ed Voyles Honda on Cobb Parkway. It’s a little out of the way but it’s better than getting ripped off.

I felt as if the service advisor was trying to sell me services I didn't need oil e.g. oil change, cabin filter and tire rotation. the car has 11,200 miles Auto Nation Honda, has already changed oil less than 5000 miles ago. As a matter of fact the service advisor informed me I almost need a oil change. What is a almost need oil change? Lastly I'm still owed my detail that we never received upon purchasing the car. I'll gave them five stars for the quality of repair because it was only a software update.

We needed repairs for a few different items before our vehicle went out of the extended warranty that we purchased from Autonation Honda. We did not have a good experience the first time we went Autonation to get warranty work done as well and we were hoping that this time would be different, but unfortunately it was worse. The first issue is that they miraculously found a way to make sure that only one item (A/C) was covered by warranty. So the extended warranty we paid $3000 for will have given us a total of $425 worth of "free" repairs. If you chose to purchase a car from Autonation do not listen to the finance team about a warranty because the sales side misrepresents what it is then the service side says "I don't know why they told you that". Our second issue, and the one most aggravating because it seems like basic business, was the inability to get answers about when our car would be completed. After leaving a few messages for our repair contact to ask when the car would be ready and not getting a call back I decided to call to talk to anyone to get answers. When I called I was put in the automated system 8 straight times. I spoke to 2 people that said they would help but instead they simply put me back in the system. At one time the person I spoke to said that our contact was there but busy so "I'll forward you to her voicemail" I said "No I've already left messages for her" she then put me back into the automated system. At the same time my wife was also trying to get some answers and she got someone to answer the phone and they said our contact was not in that day. So apparently they don't even know who is working there. Our third issue is I did at one point call the sales side of Autonation and spoke to a sales manager about my warranty and what it should cover. He told me he had my file pulled up and he would look at it and call me back later that day. It's been 4 days now. Finally it took them a week to repair a hose for the A/C and fill it back with freon. This is the same hose that broke 30k miles ago. Does their repairs only last 30k miles? Don't know yet but my confidence is not that high. Also I thought our warranty was supposed to offer a complimentary car while our repairs are being completed (the first time they gave us a rental) but none was offered this time. Sorry for the long review but I've never written a review before and I thought if I did I wanted to get all the facts out so then the consumer can decide.

I got a super deal on a new 2021 Honda Insight. They beat the OTD price of all other dealerships I was in contact with by a large margin. I’m not sure how they did it, but I am certainly grateful. The entire staff was very friendly and courteous. They also weren't overly pushy with optional warranties and financing. I felt comfortable and the environment was very relaxed. Both the Sales Manager (Jena Drummond) and Sales Associate (Clarinda Carter) held very good communications during the pre-sale (via the internet), and both were present at the dealership when I came in to make the purchase. There was a slight issue when going through with financing from my bank (USAA) – apparently, it is an ongoing issue with them not being able to read the faxes from the dealership. Aside from that, everything else was effortless, and Carlos Jelks made it all go smoothly.

A decade ago, I purchased my brand new 2011 Honda Fit from AutoNation Honda, and I have since returned to the dealership for regular vehicle maintenance at the service department. I've been pleased consistently by the pricing, conscientiousness and customer service at AutoNation Honda's service department. Here's what happened during my most recent visit. I was baffled when I hopped into my car to run an errand and the engine failed. I tried again and again, turning the key in the ignition, but the engine would not kick in. I'm an AAA member, so AAA sent over a tech, who ran a diagnostic and said "Everything is coming up green!" He instructed me to try again to start the car, but this time just hold the key in position and let the engine "struggle," if you will, to catch and turn over. Sure enough, after struggling and shuddering, the engine kicked in. The AAA tech told me that was a good sign, that maybe my car was acting funky because it's been sitting for far longer than usual during this coronavirus pandemic. BUT, he said, to be safe, "take it in to be checked out." So that's what I did. I drove to AutoNation Honda and left my car with them. My service adviser, Amber, arranged a ride home for me because she said the diagnostics would take several hours. She called that evening to ask whether I'd allow my car to remain at AutoNation Honda overnight. "Absolutely," I told her, "But why?" Her answer: "We can't find anything wrong with your car, so we want to let it sit overnight, then try again in the morning to see if something changes." Well, the next day, Amber called to say they still couldn't find nothing wrong with my car (just as the AAA tech had said), so I could come and get my car at my convenience. I thanked her, chatted with her by text a bit about what might have caused the engine to act funky in the first place (most likely culprit: sitting too long during this pandemic) -- and then asked: How much for the two-day diagnostic? The answer left me stunned: "There's no charge." I was like, "WHAT?!?!" My service adviser replied: "We can't find anything wrong with your car. And if we can't find anything wrong, there's no charge." Yeah, I love AutoNation Honda. Like, I LOVE AutoNation Honda.

I came in not expecting to be able to get a car from a dealership but I had left a Buy Here Pay Here looking at the same car but something wasn’t right about it. I googled and came across a red 2019 Honda Accord the exact color i wanted. I called, then the receptionist transferred me to sales. Ike picked up, first ring lol barely rung. I told him what i was looking at and came in 20 minutes. Fell in love with the car as soon as I got there. Before test driving Ike showed me all the features and told me about the safety ratings and the additional features that were added for safety. Which is very important to me, I’ve been in 3 not at fault accidents and I need a reliable car. I fell in love with what is now my Accord. I told him and the sales manager what I could do and they made it happen just like they told me they would and then went to work they called me and told me I had a deal. I never thought I could get a car from the dealership. Next day I came running behind but I trusted Ike and the sales manager so much I told my mom and sister I know that they could help them get a car too, to come look. It’s very important to have reliable transportation for each of us we work different schedules. They came in and Ike, the sales manager and Carlos all made sure they followed through on getting both of them in cars the same day. We are so blessed to start the new year off like this and you guys really made my dreams come true. Me getting a new car was no longer a me thing it was a WE thing for my family and we are truly blessed and appreciated I will let everyone and anyone know about Ike and Honda Thornton Road. When I get another car I won’t get one unless these three can get it for me. Also may I add of my mom, my sister or myself has any question or anything at all about our cars the door has still been completely open with Ike he answers as soon as he can and will look at anything either one of us has a question about. In changing the oil this is the second time the mechanic has left black prints on the interior left front door handle. This time I place a paper towel over that area but it was removed and the black prints were on the door handle again, the interior door handle is light grey fabric. The young lady that check me out tried to clean it but after drying a stain ring is there. I don't know what to do about this mess!!!! It is hard to recommend this place for service...

I’ve always enjoyed my experience when dealing with this dealership, however, I was left upset with my recent experience. Less than a year ago: my routine oil change discovered a battery needed to be replaced. My car was 2 yo at the time, so it was under warranty. This his recent oil change (9 mos later) discovered I need, yet again, another new battery. The original replacement was a 100 Mo battery, but only lasted 9 months. This battery wasn’t under warranty. If I’m given a 100 month battery and it only lasted 9 months, explain to me why it has zero warranty. I purchased a lifetime battery. I wonder how long this will last? Hmmmmm... 🤔

I was pleased with the service on my vehicle. It was found that the replacement part installed was defective which resulted in a leak. I contacted the service department and made them aware of the issue and Honda replaced the part and ensured I had no other issues. My Service advisor was VERY professional and called afterwards to check in and make sure I had no other leaks. I’m on my 5th Honda vehicle and I will proudly recommend Honda. Thanks Honda for taking such great care of this happy customer!

I took my car for service.. two days later a light pops out so I took it back that day... it turns out I need to do costly repairs ($1000), got charged $85 for taking it back ( they did say will deduct from Repairs) AND said I needed to change my brakes which two days before were ok....

We had our car towed here because we weren't sure if it's issues needed to be seen specifically by a Honda specialist. It ended up being a quick fix that would need further work from the mechanic who had not properly repaired something after an accident. However, Honda did try to oversell us on several flushes and unnecessary services (made clear after speaking to a different mechanic about it). Be careful here if they try to add on extras for your service.

I bought my car from here back in 2017 from this place. I had problem with engine stuff which I got fixed in Kansas since I moved there, Luckily the suv was still in warranty and got covered. I brought this time to dealership because navigation screens were showing some black color shadows on screen which was weird in honda cars. After spending about 6 hours, the service rep told me that they ran some codes and found nothing. Screen is showing shadows due to side camera picking trees or something like that. The technician who ran these codes told that he is been doing this for 28 years or something and it needs to have sensitivity changed or something. Customer Advisor send someone else to help but they were not able to figure it out either. Long story short, I figured out how to fix it myself. On the top when I received the SUV, the driver door was left dirty as someone opened the door with the foot when running codes and left a mark near speaker. The bill had mentioned about cleaning due to Covid and it was left uncleaned. Probably taking last time since it runs out of the warranty by Honda

if you didn't buy your car from them don't take it too them if it's under warranty. they will make you do the leg work to find out who is your warranty company and all the information they need. if I have to pay or not they should try to get that information, that's there job ijs. my appointment was at 11AM so about 11:45 I asked if I stayed how long would i be there she said another 3 hours. what was the use for me to have an appointment and have to be there for almost 4 hours. I won't be going there any more.

The team at AutoNation is fantastic. We started looking for a new car online and the communication was friendly and accurate. They provided us with a quote that was clear and legit so we decided to visit their showroom. Everyone there was great as well. I was a bit affraid that the online quote was going to be fishing strategy, but I was wrong. What they quoted us was accurate and it was the exact amount we paid for it. The finance process took a bit longer than anticipated, specially because I already had a finance agreement with my bank, but it was still very honest and transparent. This was my first time purchasing a car from a large dealership. Overall, I had a good experience. There was more of a lag during the buying process than I expected. I had an outside financier. They needed the paperwork a specific way for processing and it was a process getting the request accomplished by the staff. Overall, everyone was nice and friendly. Mr. Jackie Jackson was my sales representative and he was very helpful every step of the way. I really appreciate him. He stayed in contact with me and did everything he could to make this process easy for me.

On November 21st I went in for my appointment with Latrice she was out so I was placed with Alexis D. I told her I would wait in the waiting room for my vehicle but put my car with Fearon I'mon school like that. Something happened that upset me. When I spoke with Alexis D. about it she quickly apologized and corrected it. Customer service, be honest with customer. I had an appointment at 11 am for a key. I was told it would take 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Three hours later my key was done. This caused me to miss my next appointment. I specifically ask are you sure. That I had another appointment at 1 pm. We will get you out in time for appointment. This did not happen, tell me it’s not possible. I will not be coming back.

Someone Help me!! Hello and Good evening. I bought a brand new Honda Fit LX from Honda Autonation in Lithia Springs, GA on Memorial Day weekend. I just love my car! Unfortunately there are two paint issues on my car, and I have less than 2000 miles on it to date. I was told that Amber Smith could help me, but she returns no emails nor phone calls. I brought my car in October 19th and Jeffrey Barnett looked it over, took pictures, and told me that Amber Smith would more than likely be the one to follow up with me. Not so! That was 11 days ago, and counting! I would like the phone number and email of the General Manager of this car location so I can get my paint fixed. Is it so hard for someone to contact me back to let me know what is the progress of my claim? I originally gave this dealership wonderful reviews for the purchase of the vehicle, but now I give them a thumbs down for a follow-up. No one calls you back! Car had check engine light on . I took it in 3 times a received 3 different answers as to what was wrong with my car. They way over charge you in labor to fix car issues so I had the car fixed somewhere else. Needless to say they can?t get the check engine light to go off. Not happy all. It?s a Honda ; of all people you should know how to get the check engine light off your own products. Non of the suggested repairs fixed the problem. There are no codes in the OBD II reader. I believe I paid to repair parts that had nothing to do with the issue. I believe the issue is now a Honda computer issue. I tried to give them the opportunity to fix it. First time told me it was catalytic converter issue. They updated my computer and reset the check engine light . Light came back on. I changed the spark plugs after reading this could cause the code. Took it back and they told me it was the IMA battery now keep in mind the catalytic converter code cleared. Had battery replaced somewhere else because they wanted to charge me 6hrs is labor to put it in. It took the other place 45min. Third time I took it back no codes on two different OBD II but somehow the issue was the catalytic converter. They didn?t check the parts that were supposedly wrong before asking me to replace them. No physical inspection. No trouble shooting other than hooking up the code reader. I can?t get any codes but yet somehow they can. Also the code on the last sheet they gave me was dated 2/20 even though I took it in September. Just saying not happy. I was told they would call me with an estimate for the catalytic converter repair. Still no call, txt, or email. They didn?t even reply to my ?I wasn?t happy with my service email? that they initiated asking me how I felt about the service. . hence the review. Not to mention that even with an appointment it took them 2hrs to just run a code because they couldn?t look at my car until 10:30 with an 8am appointment. It has just been a horrible experience. At a time like this I felt they could have cared more but they didn?t. Only positive thing I can give them is that they didn?t charge me the two times I had to come back but they didn?t do much and the issue wasn?t fixed the first time. On previous visits it has always taken 4hrs with an appointment to get my oil changed as well. Why even bother with appointments. Oh and I had to go up there to make the last two appointments because I couldn?t get anyone to answer the phone. 2months of frustration. Still have the light after $2k of repairs. I was going to let them change the converter but they never called so I felt they didn?t want my business. Had it repaired somewhere else and again the check engine light is still on. At this point they should Fix the computer for free or do any other repairs needed to get the light off for free.

Deal was sloppy. Took forever for application to be reviewed. When finally thought we were finalizing paperwork, then after signing contracts , we were told we had to provide Additional documents to keep the car. They claim system went down and couldn?t give us copy of contracts and docs we signed. Finally after back and forth, 5 days, though I finally was done. Now I get a call today (1.5 weeks later) advising more information from the bank is needed. Never Again will purchase from this place.

I had to get my oil changed last week, and they always recommend you make an appointment. So I did. My appointment was at 10 on September 3rd. I got there and of course there was a line to be seen by staff and when I parked and got out I said that I had an appointment at 10 to get my oil changed and they said it was going to be a 2 1/2 hour to 3 hour wait. I said but I have an appointment. But I guess it doesn’t matter. She asked if I would like to drop it off and I asked if they do rentals and she said no but you can do enterprise but it’s $50 dollars a day. What? Then don’t ask me if I want to drop it off if y’all don’t do rentals! And I said that I’ll have to make another appointment because I couldn’t wait 3 hours and she said ok here’s my direct line if you would like to reschedule, instead of making one right then and there. I left and won’t be coming back! Bad customer service

Now why is my car leaking oil on my pavement by my garage? So I took my car to get an oil change on yesterday at Auto Nation Honda on Thorton Road. I was told that the bolt to my oil pan had to be repaired. I paid $386 after a $60 discount. Then I was told that the sealants on the motor was loose and was leaking from the top. He recommended a dye so he can know which sealants had to be replaced and to come back in a week to have it checked. Now keep in mind that there has been no leak on my pavement but if the mechanic tells me the sealants are loose and need to be replaced then I'm going to listen and get it taken care off because I need my car. It will cost about an additional thousand to get it fixed but he also mention that I can buy a car if I didn't want to worry about repairs. No I don't want a car note!!! I get up this morning to an oil leak on my pavement which this has never happen before. Why is my car leaking oil? Are you trying to make sure that I come back and spend that money with your? I'm feeling duped because my fiancee told me that mechanics take advantage of women but he had to work on yesterday. Now I have to take care of this right away because now my car is leaking oil on my pavement but it will not be with Auto Nation on Thornton road!

I dealt with Walter and Steve. Both of them were so sweet! We bought an Acura MDX there that we love! When I first got on the phone with Walter I told him I loved how Auto Nation donates to breast cancer awareness and research and that my husband’s cousin was just diagnosed with breast cancer and that she needs prayers. Walter said he’d pray for her and asked for her name. I was very touched by that. We drove to the dealership which is an hour drive from us with our two small children and did business with them because we were treated better than most of the other dealerships we had gone to. Was able to set a service call quickly even in this distancing time, only real complaint is there should have been only one service rep for me to deal with, there was a different person each time. One when we dropped the car, the person we were assigned was't there, another when we picked it up. Another when we returned to get the work completed again not the one assigned and then another when we picked it up. So wasn't able to build any kind of relationship with anyone. Back in the day when we took another car we had, we always had the same service rep and usually the same tech working on our car. No one seemed friendly to the point of wanting to get to know you. But then again could have just been to do with what we are all involved in right now. But so far satisfied with the work, although haven't been able to go any wheres to give the car a real chance to see how the repair truly went.

I have owned the car for less than a year. Bought a service package with the car from AutoNation Honda Thornton Road. So have gone through one service, so obviously my second service shouldn?t be more than oil change and tire rotation. So I booked my appointment online for B16 service, got to the desk where the assigned desk person showed me a paper with the services. As anyone would think the service is what I had the appointment for B16. But no, I trusted the person and signed the paper for service. When I went to pick the car up she showed me a bill of $750, and that to after correcting more than five mistakes in pricing (had $875 before correction). So while this happened I had also asked for remote start which wasn?t in stock, and wasn?t going to be delivered for 4 days. But somehow the remote start was avaible for install so I left my car overnight for it. Next day the day I went to pick up, I get a text in the morning saying sorry the part wasn?t available. So anyways I went to get my car. Over all I ended up paying $750 for just my second service on the brand new car which had 13,500 miles. This place is a rip off. Cheats. Be careful and adamant before you walk in, they are in business of cheating their purchasing customers. I bought my car from there, biggest mistake. 13,500 miles NO MAJOR SERVICE STILL THE BILL WAS $750. AVOID THIS PLACE, for your own sake.

The customer service at the Thornton Rd location is lackluster. And of course the usual trick every dealership uses to get you to spend more by recommending services that aren?t truly needed. It?s just annoying. I received a tune up, and smoothed out my rotors. I was told it would take about two hours, so I waited. After 2hrs and 45 minutes passed, I went to ask how much longer and was told 30 more minutes. After another hour it was finally completed. I was a little irritated that he could not advise me that it was going to be longer than expected. This happened when I got an oil change at this location a few months back, which took an hour and a half. Just annoying, but they services everything fine.

My sister purchased a vehicle from this location in the late 2000's. I then purchased a 2016 Honda Accord in the year 2016 and I haven't had any problems since then. I keep up with my maintenance (there's a light on the dashboard to notify me when maintenance is necessary) and the service staff is always friendly. I would highly recommend purchasing a car from this dealer and getting any necessary repairs here too.

I?m not sure how long the service should have been, but I made an appointment. I was early or on time for this appointment. I was there 2-1/2 hours. Wow! Compared to others this was an extremely long oil change and tire rotation. Good thing I wasn?t headed to another appointment. I was concerned that my back up camera wasn?t working properly. When I asked about it I was told to bring it back to see IF it could be adjusted. WOW! Again this wasn?t very helpful. And one more concern, why does my sensory warning come on when it rains? No help, my customer service guy said, ?I couldn?t tell you again bring it back and have it checked out.? Wait, isn?t that why I?m here?

I was treated courteously and promptly when I brought my car to Auto Nation at Thornton Rd. (Lithia Springs). I did not wait for long and the technician explained to me in detail what the repair process entails. I was also informed by the service technician the general state of my car and what I need to do address certain issues with my car before they get worse. By and large, I was provided and an excellent service at the dealership.

I contacted the dealership regarding my service experience via email prior to writing a review and I didn't receive a response regarding my complaint. I, then, wrote a review on this site regarding my unreasonably high disposal fee experience. The dealership replied to the review asking for me to contact them. I followed up with a reply to my previous email and still didn't receive a reply. I did indicate in the reply that I was responding in reference to the review I had sent. It doesn't seem like they are interested in actually assisting me. The "misc fee" line item placed on my invoice seems like it can be used to charge a customer any "hidden" cost the dealership deems just.

I've been going to AutoNation for several years to have my 2007 Honda serviced. The facility is very comfortable while I wait - Plenty of seating to watch TV, quiet spots to work or read and even several locations in which to plug in electronic device. I trust AutoNation to advise me to do what is necessary for my car, especially since I've been assigned to my advisor, Amber. I want to drive this car as long as possible and think I'll be able to with their assistance.

I hate to leave bad reviews but.....About 2 months ago I had taken my car in for a regular maintenance check and oil change. A few things went wrong with that visit. First I told the technician that one of my headlights were out. Taking for granted that it was taken care of and replaced, I didn't check prior to leaving. I found out that it wasn't changed when I was stopped and told that my head light was out. I look at my receipt and realized that I wasn't charge for the service which obviously means it wasn't done, nor checked. Aren't head lights a part of the service check??? Next, the big issue was when I saw oil in my drive way, I didn't think anything of it because I had just had the service done so I kept driving. Until one morning in the middle of Atlanta rush hour my car stopped on me- just stopped in the middle of the rd. I had to call a tow to tow me me to a mechanic who told me that there was no oil in my car. The oil filter wasn't installed correct and over time the oil came out. O.k... With all of that, the thing that really upset was the manager! He was rude, and failed to communicate with me once I arrived back at Honda. I wasn't greeted, sat in the lobby for over 3 hours, missing an entire day of work, and no one communicated with me about what was going on with my car. Granted they paid for the tow and a rental- but the costumer service sucked. No apology, no ownership of the issue/faulty work, no extended warranty just in case driving with no oil caused problems to my engine, no assurance that it wouldn't happen again, and ........no car wash. To top it off, my front headlight is still out. I had to google it to see how to change it myself.

Took my CRV to have the power steering flushed after having a new line put on. Had air in the line and made the pump loud. While there I had a oil changed and tire rotation and alighment. Right of price was quoted wrong for tire rotation. So I said "ok" . I was there almost 3 hours and when they came to get me the service person tells me I need a new power steering pump, new drive belt and front seal. At a WHOOPING $1150 ! I explained I didn't have that kind of money after just handing them $337! Yep ! that's right $337 for those 3 simple things! So I get ot my vehicle and first find grease all over the passenger headlight. Again upset by the problem I told myself just wait to I get home. When I started the car the wining was actually louder than when I took it in and the steering wheel just doesn't seem to be in the right position. ( I did ask they to set the steering wheel balanced straight when the alignment was done. I drove up and down the road a few time in terrible traffic trying o make sure the alignment was right. the steering wheel seems strange as if when you turn it its in the wrong place. I made it home (70 miles one way in the heavy traffic and just wanted to rest with the thoughts of that HUGE expenses over my head and the big amount I just paid ( ALWAYS EXPENSIVE) . The next morning I was awoken by the dealership calling wanting to know to set up an appointment to have the work done! I was pissed off to say the least. Especially after telling the service person I could not afford the work. Fast forward 4 days and I had driven the car very little in fear of the unit getting worse or going out. Something told me to check the work that had been done (like a dummy I didn't think to do so on the day I left because of the traffic and rain). First I had wipe the grease off the head light and fender. Then when opening the hood there was clean up to be done in the front where they worked. I opened the power steering unit to find little to nothing in it! They didn't fill the unit after bleeding!!! . The other fluids hadn't been checked and the oil was not completely up to the right area. I checked the tires and EVERYONE had a different pressure!, all at or below 28 pounds! It was late that day I had to wait to call the dealership the next morning. It took forever to get someone on the phone. When I did and I told them of the problems . It was like they missed the complete conversation. She kept saying she'd have to talk to the mechanic . I told her I filled the unit with fluids and till this day almost two weeks the unit has been full as she said it must have had a leak. She wanted me to drive all the way back so the mechanic could look at it. There was NEVER a "WE"RE SORRY" or "HOW CAN WE MAKE THIS RIGHT". She never even went into the other problems at all! I've had a few things repaired or replaced there and of course they are very expensive but done right and it is a dealer so you would think they would go out of their way to make sure the customer was happy and the job done right. So now I'm having o look for a place to NOW have a new power steering unit installed which is VERY HARD to find. Since HONDA"S have to have everything done a certain way such as power flushing at $230 or more on all things needing flushed. I'm not happy by any means! Seems it like this EVERYWHERE you go now. Do yourself a favor and check , I mean REALLY check out the places you intend to take your vehicle to. Check Yelp and others!

I purchase my 2010 Honda Ridgeline from your dealership, and it's been service at your store exclusively. The service this time did not meet my expectations because the truck makes a loud noise now until it heats up. I had a tune up which replaced the spark plugs and belt. It never did that before this service and the check in attendant witnessed the noise. I returned it the next day, but the master mechanic would not investigate his work because the noise was not present because the truck was now hot which stops the sound. I also had the front and rear brakes, rotors and pads done. The brakes now make a grinding noise when applied. Finally, I wanted to replace the windshield wiper blades, but they were out of stock. My truck was there from 8am to 7pm. Obviously it was not thoroughly tested after the services were completed. I don't know where to go from here. Feeling let down...

Good Morning, I would not recommend Honda Thorton to anyone who owns a Chevrolet. My tires were rotated but not reset. I asked Ms. Amber to be sure they were reset so that my onstar app and monitor in the dash would read accurately. The PSI didn?t read all 35. So, I went back for it to be done, but they put air in my tires and it was still off. I left to drive a little to allow changes to level out, but they didn?t...35, 37, 36;34. ? I returned again. This time I asked were the sensors reset. I was told yes and sent back to the techs again. Techs were not welcoming at all!! They attempted to put more air and reset on steering wheel. I advised that I needed the sensors reset and explained how. They told me that wasn?t so. Therefore, I asked for the lead tech. Ryan went to get him and three of them returned. All of them seemingly treated me as if it was impossible and I didn?t know what I was talking about. I explained that they needed to use the handheld computerized device to individually reset each tire and then match PSI to 35 for each tire. They told me that wasn?t so and if so they couldn?t do it! I returned to Amber to inform her that I purchased a protection that isn?t worth it for my vehicle! The life of my tires is very important!! If they?re not cared for properly they will wear faster!! She went to get the lead tech and he said the exact same thing as the other techs. However, in the midst of that conversation, another advisor next to Amber informed the tech, Amber and I of exactly what I needed and requested!! He informed that Honda didn?t have the appropriate tools to do so for my vehicle and advised me to go over to John Thorton to have it completed. Moreover, I didn?t pay for a protection plan with John Thorton. I paid for it with Autonation. Autonation is not honoring a protection plan that services all the options included for all vehicles they sale, which is meaningless for my vehicle in that perspective. SAFETY IS MY FAMILY?S FIRST PRIORITY!! Therefore, again, I would not recommend to friends, relatives nor co-workers.

Great experience! I was able to communicate with the dealer before going to the dealership. I walked in knowing exactly what my cost would be and which I car wanted to test drive. I was in and out in 2 hours total. Gabriel was extremely helpful in answering my questions. The manager approached me immediately after entering and thanked me for coming in. My email confirmation stated my contact was Alex for my maintenance. I was greeted on arrival by a young man who greeted me with a smile on his face. Ask who I was there to see and stated the process. Alex went over what my maintenance codes ment and the whole process took about an 1 to 1 and half hours.

She told me that my oil change will take a little bit longer since they had an extra flux of customers, but she said that she will do whatever it takes to keep me updated. Sure enough she did what she said and i got my car ready in less than 30 mns. I understand sometimes it gets busy, and the most important thing for me is be informed. I took my car in for service at honda nation .....Caitlin King was my supervisor. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, pleasant to talk to and found me a 15 percent discount (since I forgot mine at home) I even got a complimentary car wash! My car was done in the allotted time, which she kept me informed at sporadic times throughout the morning while I waited. The waiting are has comfortable chairs, fresh starbucks coffee, cable tv, work areas and fresh popcorn.

I went back to AutoNation Honda Thorton Rd. 3 years after having a great experience with their knowledgeable and helpful staff. I needed to trade in 2 cars and get a minivan (since having had twins) and the process went seamlessly. I worked with Jena & Gabriel. Both were trustworthy, and radiated "for-ness" of getting the deal we needed to fit our budget and needs AND create a a win-win for both sides. What more could you ask for? Need to replace a battery that was under warranty. Original battery lasted 72 months. Next one lasted 17months. They replaced it with no issues. Very satisfied with service provided, ....will have to wait and see how long this battery lasts.

Experience with service department staff, especially Treslyn and Jennifer, was very good as usual. The phone situation and having to call three different days, multiple times, only to be funneled through two-three people each time was basically ridiculous. Something has changed drastically with the phones and it?s not a pleasant or smooth experience; but it used to be. I?ve never had to wait and speak to so many people just to finally get to the actual service area in order to schedule a service appointment. In the words of another patron, the phones are a hot mess!

The battery on my 2017 Civic died. AAA jumped it and I immediately went to Autonation Honda (Lithia Springs) to get it taken care of. The service advisor was great and got me signed in right away. The technician checked out the battery and system. It appears to be a defective battery, which was replaced. So far so good and I am back on the road. Thanks.

This is my 3rd Honda. I purchased it from a different dealer years ago but I have been going to service my car at Honda dealer on Thornton rd for years. This is my 3rd and last bad service experience. I had an oil change appointment for 11am past Friday. I was scheduled with someone that was actually off and sent to a different person. Two hours later I went to check on my car and it hasn?t moved an inch from where I originally left it. They told me it will be another 1.5 to 2 hours. I am 7 months pregnant. I can not afford to wait 4 hours for an oil change where it takes just 30 min at other places.

I dropped my 2007 CRV off last Saturday at Honda Carland on Thornton Road for a 9:00 appointment. It was there to have all 5 lugs and lug nuts replaced on the front left wheel. I was told I would be contacted in a few hours with an estimate. I never received that call and later at 1:00 that afternoon I called the service department to see if it was ready. I was told it wouldn't be fixed because the parts would have to ordered on Monday and would not come in until Tuesday. I asked the service agent why was I not told about this, but didn't really get an answer other than parts were not available. So, Tuesday afternoon I went to pick the car up and was shocked to see a nearly $650 repair bill just to replace 5 lugs and lug nuts. The girl I picked the car up from was not the original person I had been dealing with. She knew I was very angry because I was never told it would be that much. She was kind enough to reduce the charges by 15%, but that doesn't excuse my entire bad experience. Very undecided if I will ever bring this car back to the dealership again.

Problems with first Honda we ever bought 6 months after sell. Door light coming on saying door was not closed. Was told it was probably cause by seat belt getting caught in door and it was not covered by warranty. Said it would be $210 but went they came back try to change $245. Never heard of this happen- wishing we had not bought a Honda and wish we never went to this dealership. Tried to call person who sold to me and was told they did not work there anymore. Explain my problem and they send me to fiancé department for some reason and of course person was no help.

It was AWFUL! They ?washed my car.. you could see bugs and DIRTY water spots from at least 20 feet away! The tires had not been shined SND the floors were not vacuumed! I complained. It came back washed and the front was vacuumed but then there small bits of debris all over my backseat which was never there! They supposedly did the Clorox sanitation service. The advisor said it would smell slightly like Clorox. ZERO scent, so I got a wet nap, lightly rubbed my shifter knob and it was dirty, as was the steering wheel and door handles. You could still see a little debris on the cup holders that was there when I arrived! MY ONLY HOPE IS THAT THEY DID CHANGE MY OIL, FILTER and ROTATE AND BALANCE MY TIRES!!! I honestly honk I just handed them around $300 for nothing!

I have had an awful experience getting my car part for the repair to my vehicle. I have been very patient and I am running out. When I was told 5/23 for my ETA on the part and now to be told that’s not when it arrives but when it’s shipped just really was wrong. Everyone knows that ETA is when to expect the arrival of something. It’s just been one thing after another. I just want my car back and repaired correctly. I’m tired of trying to communicate and getting the run around. Maybe when they get it fixed and want there money for the repairs I will wait 2 months before I can pick it up. I’m just one unhappy customer.

Brought car in for recall repair. Told the repair would take up to 2 hours. After not hearing from them, we went back after 2 hours and 45 minutes. Car had been ready and no one bothered to call. When I asked for paperwork documenting the repair, they acted like that was a foreign concept. We also had told them a warning light had come on not long after a previous recall repair and was still on. They said they would check into it and let us know. When we picked up the car, no one was around to discuss why the light had been on. Basically, we felt like, here are your keys now go away. An elderly gentleman with obvious medical issues was there when we picked up and said he was also told 2 hours and it had been over 3 hours for him. His car was still not ready and he had been waiting there the whole time. Considering the recall letter said the repair should take approximately 30 minutes, the whole situation was ridiculous. They acted like they could care a less about customers coming back in the future.

I submitted an online request for a quote on a 2019 Honda Pilot from several dealerships. Within only a few minutes I received an email quote from AutoNation Honda and then a couple of other quotes. There were some that didn't provide quotes but wanted me to call them and discuss. I don't have time for that. Net/Net, Auto Nation beat everyone easily and I even exchanged emails with them for accessories and I had a final and complete drive out price on paper within 45 minutes of my initial request on a third party website. I ended up working with Carlos as my sales agent. I had to arrive late after work and so he ended up canceling his evening plans to stay late and help me purchase the car. He provided a "white glove" approach to the process and made it very easy for me despite self-inflicted challenges I made for myself (PSA - if your credit is frozen, make sure to unfreeze it before you purchase a car!). There were absolutely no surprises and he worked quickly to complete the process. He took time to educate and walk me through the functionality of the car and has even provided post-purchase customer service that has been very much appreciated. All in all, we are extremely happy with the experience at Auto Nation Honda. We're a Honda family and we've purchased three cars from another metro area dealership and had planned to buy a fourth from them. However, their willingness to work with a repeat customer was very lacking and disappointing. Although Auto Nation is further from my home, you better believe I will return as a customer because of their competitive pricing but also their stellar customer service. When you inquire, be sure to ask for Carlos and Jena.

The mechanics broke a corner of the radio cover installing an airbag recall; then tried to glue it in place, leaving residue all over the radio and glovebox. No one said anything to me and it wasn't realized until I got home. How do you take your vehicle to have something repaired and they break something and hope you don't notice. Will NEVER take any vehicle back to AutoNation.

I had a oil change. I got there at 9:15 (appt was at 9:30). I was told that it would take about an hour. Two other people came in about 30 min after me. I was still waiting after 11:00 and the other two had already been called to check out. At 11:15 I went out to service center to see what was taking so long. The girl that had helped me was on the phone talking . I said do you know when my car will be ready? She says oh I have your paperwork here( laughs a little) and then says I’ve been on the phone ). This is the second time they have assigned her to me. If and when I go back I will make sure I don’t have her. I was there from 9:15-11:20. That’s my experience. Shouldn’t take that long for oil change.

Service Department (Advisor AMY WINDLEY) AutoNation Honda Thornton Road Lithia Springs GA. Unnecessary and Unacceptable experience from this service advisor. Service reason is the LED light needs replacing on the driver side and prior to this, the passenger side needed replacing about 4 or 5 months ago, in which I had a similar experience with the same service advisor. The part is still covered under 36/3year warranty. I called Monday of this week to schedule the appointment for the replacement. Since the prior service request had difficulty, I made a second phone call to Honda Service in which I spoke with Amy. I advised that because of the previous experience with the part not being available and having to make two trips to the dealership and have two days of my weekend disrupted. I wanted to make sure that this was not the same experience.I had an 8am appt today,arrived promptly at 7:55. I thought I had two issues but only had one. Amy assisted me with the remote starter, and it was user error(me). I thanked her for the assistance and now I'm headed to the waiting room to wait for my car only to be advised that the same part I called about on Monday and I was assured repeatedly the part was in stock, was now NOT in stock. Needless to say I was taken aback because I did all that I could to ensure that this was not a repeated experience. Amy, was nonchalant and inauthentic with her apology as I reminded her of Monday's phone call, when I felt like I was being rushed off the phone when I conveyed that I work until midnight and it's a big deal for me to get up drive 40 miles round trip for the part not to be available. Which means it's going to be 80 miles round trip and impeding on two days of my weekend,since I have to go back tomorrow. I feel as though it was a Blatant Disregard on my attempt to make sure the part was available.This experience was unnecessary and disconcerting. I would think that if an appt is made in advance the part associated with the appt should be taken out of inventory so a situation like this wouldn't happen. Also, since this is my second experience, I can't help but to wonder was I pushed to the side because I'm not technically a paying customer since it's still under warranty? I truly hope not, I have own three Honda's, so I believe in the product. What I don't believe in, is the poor service that was rendered from this service advisor Amy Windley. The shop had a Service Manager, I believe his name was Michael he had the wow factor, the positive language and a calming presence. Unlike Amy, which her only quest is to ensure you score her 100 on the survey you receive after a service appointment. He was the only reason why I decided to come back for service. I was told he was no longer working there. Needless to say I will not be back to this dealership after my light is replaced. The lady that helped me was awesome. I thought the tire rotation was included in the maintenance package that I purchased when I bought the car. I found out when I picked my car up that the tire rotation is not included. They rotated the tires anyway but she did not charge me for that service. She made sure I was aware that going forward that will be a chargeable service. I really appreciated that, because I truly thought it was covered and I wasn't prepared to pay that charge. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that my car didn't get washed or vacuum like I had requested. They were extremely busy that day though.

Three weeks ago I purchased my third CRV from this location. The first one had over 300,000 mikes and I upgraded to my second CRV. Two months after getting this car, I was in a terrible car accident and I’m alive today because of the safety features on the car, minus a few broken bones and a year of physical therapy. Three weeks ago, I went back to 2018 Honda CRV and I had a great experience with Steve on Honda Thornton Road. After driving the car only 8 times the SRS system light came on and I was told that a rodent (rat) was in the car and chewed the undercarriage. Part $389...Labor $3900!!! And not covered under my warranty?!?!? WHY NOT!!??? This car is less than a month old and Honda and I’m certain this critter came with the car. So be careful folks!!!!

I just purchased a 2018 Honda CRV and I had an amazing experience with Auto Nation HONDA on Thornton road. Gabriel Lozano and Jam Kelly were fantastic and patient with me. The customer service provided was outstanding and I will recommend people to ask for Gabriel and/or Jam because they really made me feel I was part of the team because they continued to check on me and make sure everything was okay and if I needed anything they offered. I went to Auto Nation Honda to get the oil changed in my 2015 Honda Accord. Since there was a wait I decided to go into the showroom to “look”. A kind gentleman, Mr. Moses asked if he could help me. I said I was just looking while my car was being serviced. He asked me what kind of car and I told him. He said what if I could get you into a new 2018 Accord for the same note that you are currently paying? I said “show me”. To make a long story short, I left there driving a 2018 Honda Accord. Both the salesman and the finance man were both very knowledgeable and patient. I love my new Honda but which I had added the leather package to the seats. I can see them becoming dirty in no time. It was a wonderful experience. I would invite anyone to give Auto Nation Honda a try.

My name is Leonard Roberts, I am 66 years old on Social Security,I took my 2007 Honda Pilot to Auto Nations Honda on Thornton Rd. on July,24, My car was running great however my check engine light would flash intermittently so I wanted it fixed because I have a 19 year old son who drives the car! As a teaching tool, I took my son with me to encourage him to use the dealership when he had car problems! I explained to the service person that I wanted everything on the engine repaired because I was going to Florida on vacation! The service person called and said that it will cost $1310.00 to get everything right so I agreed to that amount as long as everything was okay! On the next day. the 25th I was told to pick up my car! When I was presented the paperwork it had a note on it saying that the cam shafts looked worn and might cause problems in the future! I asked the service person why she didn't call and inform me of this as I had requested that everything be repaired and she told me that they had determined that that might be something I want to get done in the future! My reply was " it seems like you would have done that when you were already working inside of the engine but she stated that their equipment didn't indicate that so they just did a valve adjustment among other things! Thereafter, she just take the car now because you have a 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty this was on Thursday! Saturday morning two days later I got on the highway to go to Florida on vacation, unfortunately, the engine blew up before I got out of the city limits! It cost me 92 dollars to have the car taken back to the. Auto Nations service dept.where I left it! Thereafter, five days went by and I had heard nothing from them so I decided to call them! Shockingly, I was told that I needed a new engine and it would cost me $ 5,500.00 and that their work had nothing to do with my problem! I went in to speak to the service manager who refused to come out and talk with me! He relayed a message to the service person over the phone that he would deduct half of the $1300.00 I had already paid from the $5,500.00 engine charge! I called him several times but he still wouldn't answer the phone or come out to speak with me! Thereafter I called the president/dealership manager and he didn't answer my calls either! To this day neither one of them have called me back! In conclusion, my son now hates all dealerships, my car is still there until I can afford to move it, and Auto Nations just sits there waiting for their problem to go away as they just want me to get my car and go away! I am very sad and confused because I was treated so nice when I went in then I was treated like a criminal when their service failed me! Respectfully, old man without a car!

Their salesmen (specifically the men) are cheats and crooks. Their service shop spends 5 hours working on a car and then says "We didn't find any problems with the things you reported, so nothing got fixed". Thank You Auto Nation for preventing me from buying the 2018 Accord. If you're not going to fix cars, i'm not buying another one.

I own a 2012 Honda Civic that had the paint recalled because it started to wear off the top and chip very badly. I took it into their service department for them to inspect it to make sure it fit the recall. Well after taking multiple pictures of my car Amy and James from the service department said they would give me a call by Thursday. (It was Tuesday at the time). Never received a call Thursday or Friday. I waited till Monday morning and called back to talk to Amy. She said she would talk to James and asked me for my contact information. Even though I had already given it to her that previous Tuesday which lead me to believe she obviously didn’t bother to keep up with it. So anyway I gave her my number and she said she would call me later that day. Once again, nothing. So today I called back and asked to speak with Amy, I told her my name and that I never heard back from her yesterday, she didn’t remember me and asked what it was in reference too. I explained to her my frustrations, that I feel like I have been left on the back burner and she said it was out of her hands and quickly rushed me off the phone with no type of solution other than to transfer me to James whom I left a voicemail for and he ever call me back either. I tried calling the manager, left a message and they never got back to me. Terrible customer service. I will be taking my business elsewhere and will recommend others should too.

This was the 4th Honda that I have purchased, my first being from this store as the others were from dealerships in Florida and I was absolutely not impressed with the store. My husband and I roamed the lot for quite a bit, were never greeted until we got into the store whereas I don't believe the salesman ever told me his name through introduction even though this purchase was for me. We got the usual runaround with the pricing of the new vehicle and then had issues negotiating the pricing of my trade in which was low in comparison to what was offered on KBB. Although I wasn't in any rush to purchase a new vehicle, the salesman didn't appear to be very informed on the Honda Pilot Elite which was what I was interested in. Thankfully I had done my research and was familiar with the car (and brand since I have always gotten Honda vehicles in the past) so it really didn't take much effort from the salesman to actually sell the car. He didn't seem to know much about the car let alone the features so I definitely couldn't have relied on him if I hadn't known already. Once my husband and I were cleaning out my previous car to transfer my items to the new car, I was disgusted by how the service department neglected to actually clean the interior and when approached about the topic, I was met with hostility and an attitude and a statement of "that wasn't my job" by the gentleman who I assume was from the service department. I proceeded to tell him that I had expected the watermarks on the console in addition to minor dirt spots on the cars interior to be wiped down if not detailed and he walked away making the salesman eventually do it. This is a brand new, top of the line Elite edition that I just spent a lot of money on so I don't think I was asking for much but a little extra attention to detail would have been nice. The customer service, specifically the situation at the end of the sale sealed the deal for me and I will NOT return to this dealership nor recommend it to anyone as a result. I have never received this type of careless attitude and lack of concern for the customer satisfaction through previous sales of a vehicle!

Masters of the Bait and Switch and will never ever do business with these clowns again. My son was looking for his first car. Selected it from these folks and had active communication with them over the past three days. Set up his appointment yesterday to view the car. Drove the hour to the dealership today and was advised the vehicle sold 3 days ago even though it was sitting on the lot. They immediately kicked into trying to sell him a vehicle twice as expensive. When discussing the vehicle he wanted they kepy changing their story. Needless to say they have a serious integrity issue with the staff and management. I called the dealership while my wife and son were still on site and was advised to come down immediately since the car was still available. When asked are they sure I was told absolutely the car was available. Neither I nor my money will ever darken these shady peoples doors again. I'm not stupid and do not appreciate being treated as such.

I'd had my eye on a CX-9 for years but as I was nearing the end of a loan I was not in a hurry to jump back into one. However, an accident proved to change things. I had an excellent experience with AutoNation Thornton Road. I took my former vehicle (2013 Honda CR-V) to them for some major work and received the white glove treatment. Everything was explained to me before the work was done, I was put in a rental comparable to my vehicle being serviced (which is more than I can say for my insurance company), kept up to date on the status of the repair, and was greeted by name each time I visited. My service advisor, Nakeya, was awesome every step of the way. The service I received is what actually brought me back to Honda Thornton Road when needing to purchase my next vehicle. With service like I received, I plan to continue using the location to service my car(s) for years to come.

My experience started well but ended poorly. I negotiated the price by email and over the phone a week before I arrived at the dealership. Their price was much better than that of my local dealer so it was worth my time to drive from North Alabama to the Atlanta area to buy my car. When I arrived my sales representative met me and we went outside to look at the car. The sun was shining and the car looked great! She showed me some of the features and how to pair my phone. Then we went back inside and were done with the paperwork she was responsible for in about ten minutes. She then brought over the finance office representative. The business office representative introduced himself and said I should wait in the lobby for him to do the paperwork for my signature. An hour passes and I'm still waiting in the lobby. I speak to my sales rep and she goes to check on the paperwork. She comes back and says I should continue to wait in the lobby, that it will be just a few minutes. 20 more minutes pass and I'm still waiting so I speak to the sales rep. This time the finance office rep comes out and takes me to his office where he fumbles around for another 20 minutes. It turns out all the "paperwork," including signatures, is done on the computer. He is on his fourth day on the job and the close-the-deal process is sufficiently complicated that extensive training is required. And he needs much more training for the necessary skills. Finally he gets his supervisor to coach him through the process of getting my signatures on the laptop. The old way of doing it on paper was much faster, back in the day. Over two hours to buy a car when the deal was already negotiated! That is not the end of the saga. While we were closing the deal, the sales rep took the car back to "detailing." When they (FINALLY!!) gave me the keys, We went out again, walked around the car and I was on my way back to North Alabama. I am very happy with how the car drives and all the features of the car. But . . . When I got home I put the car in the garage and raised the hood to look at that sweet turbocharged engine. That's when I noticed the scratch. Under the overcast skies I couldn't what was readily apparent under my florescent trouble light. There was a large scratch on the right front fender. A small part of the scratch went all the way through the paint. I called the dealership on Monday (after buying the car on Saturday) and, an interesting thing; nobody would return my calls! So I'm on my own. I was able to repair the scratch myself with touch-up paint and polishing compound. But that should not have been necessary. Would I recommend this dealership? NO!

I purchased a new Honda on 11/11. The staff was very friendly and courteous. My sales representative was very efficient and completed the paperwork she was responsible for quickly. However, the finance office representative was on his fourth day on the job; and it showed. Long story short (chapter 1) it took me over two hours to close the deal and get on the road. Now for chapter 2 - When I got home it was dark so I had to look at the car under electric light. When I was checking out the sweet turbocharged engine, I noticed a large scratch on the passenger side front fender. A funny thing; no one would return my calls the next day!! I went to the website and opened a chat session with the dealership and was assured I would get a call back. I'm still waiting. . . .

By far the worst service department I have ever been to. Sadly this is the nearest Honda dealership to me even though it is almost an hour from my house. Because of the distance I have been stuck using them for my factory servicing. I have brought my odyssey there three times and had horrible experiences each time, but will only speak to the worst two. Experience 1: The first time I came in I needed to have some recall work done and while I was there wanted to go ahead and have the brakes done. I made an appointment for Saturday morning at 7 am, was there ten minutes early, and gave them the car. I went to the waiting room to wait as I was told it would not be too long of a wait. I got restless and walked around, behind the building I found my car sitting there, not being worked on. This was 45 minutes after I had gotten there. When I confronted the service person about this they told me that the service techs don't even get there until 8 am. So I was there an hour longer than I needed to be. On top of all this the staff was not apologetic and was a bit rude when I spoke with them about this policy of setting appointments when the techs are not even there. Experience 2: The last time I had my car serviced there they replaced the power steering pump. It was not that long ago and it was making noises and not doing its job well so I called in to ask if it would still be covered under a warranty due to how long it had been. The woman I spoke with said that if it was hard to steer that it would be covered under a campaign and that I should bring it in. I made an appointment for the next morning at 7 am. While I was on the phone I mentioned that there were a couple recalls that I had gotten letters about that also needed to be taken care of. I arrived at 7 the next morning and waited almost 20 minutes before a service person helped me check in my car. As he was checking me in I noticed that the only work listed was the power steering, not the 2 recalls. When I mentioned that the service adviser wrote it all up and said "your dropping it off right?" I said no and he was surprised and told me that the two recalls take most of the day to fix. Because of this I said never mind to the recalls and just take care of the power steering. After 3 hours of waiting I realized that the service tech was performing the work I specially said not to. I was there for 4 hours waiting and no one seemed to care. When I was looking for someone to actually listen to my complaints a sales manager tried to help me but was not helpful. LONG STORY SHORT, THEY DON'T LISTEN, TAKE FAR TOO LONG TO HELP YOU, AND DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR TIME. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

The key to my Honda Accord broke so I had to get another one. They charged me $150 for one key! I got it because I felt it was an emergency situation but when I got home, I found Honda keys online for literally $11 & videos on YouTube how to program them. Taking your car to a dealer, absent emergency or warranty, you're asking to get screwed over. Never again.

We have purchased 3 cars from Autonation. All transactions were very good. However, the Service Department has sunk to a new low. We will never return nor recommend the service department. My wife had a nail in the middle of her tire. She was leaving early the next day for vacation with her grandkids. We went by Autonation to repair it. After 1.25 hours they told us it could not be repaired. The nail was at an angle that prohibited them from being able to repair it. They offered to sell us a new tire for $180, $55.00 more than one of the original tires would be. We told them no thanks. We left and went a few miles to a competitor. They fixed it for free in 30 minutes. I spoke later with the Service Manager and he told me it was a company policy they could not do it because of the angle. They could not have known the angle because they didn't pull the nail out unless they x-rayed it. Complete bogus service department. We heard others complaing while there about "add ons" to their service requests.

I took my car in because there was a recall on the battery sensor. They did s once over on my car and told me everything looked good. On my way home I noticed a grinding in my rear drivers side tire when I would brake. I got home and my husband checked it out and noticed that he bolt was gone from my caliper assembly. Everything was fine before I took it up there. The mechanics either forgot to replace the bolt when they checked my brakes or didn't tighten it enough.

We have purchased 3 cars from this dealership and each time they are willing to work hard to make the deal work for us. We have also used the service side and never had an issue. Items that are covered under warranty are handled swiftly and if they need to keep the car a few days, they will call enterprise and get a car for you (also covered under HondaCare warranty). Ask for Jackie in sales.

I had a great experience with AutoNation Honda Lithia Springs, GA. They gave me the best quote the first time. They were upfront and honest and I was quoted a fair price based on being an educated consumer (having researched using Edmund's). There were no bait and switch tactics once I got to the dealer and we had great service.

I came here for an auto loan and was approved, I was told to pick a car and I did, one week went by and no one calls. I called and they said the cas doesn't have enough cash in it for fees. So I told them I will split the fees now its been 2 weeks since i have heard from josephine or john. No one calls or emails me. I cannot go to another dealer because of all the inquiries on my credit report that it brought my score really low. This is the worse place to buy a car. like i said no one calls, they keep saying that they call back and never do. Bad customer service.👎👎👎👎👎
